FATGUMS X BAMBU

FATGUMS X BAMBU is the musical intersection of DJ/producer Fatgums and rapper Bambu. In 2008, the duo first worked together on Bambu's third solo album, ...EXACT CHANGE....Together, they "find common ground between feel-good, old school worshipping West Coast backpack rap and sun-and-gun drenched L.A. gangsta rap. Bambu tackles big issues without resorting to oversimplification or cliche, and Fatgums keeps it cooking with his soulful beats." -RapReviews.com.

THE COUNTERPARTS

The CounterParts (T-Know, BraelanB, Otayo Dubb, Gammaray and Fatgums) are a group of friends who have been making music together since the late '90's. After going their separate ways to raise families, pursue degrees, start non-profit companies, and make records, The CounterParts are re-united to rock the mic and turntables once again. Their self-titled debut album is scheduled to drop in November 2009. Click here to download their 2008 THE APPETIZER mixtape.

OTAYO DUBB

After two records with acclaimed West Coast hip-hop underground group Co-Deez, Otayo Dubb is going solo. 'Tayo defines his sound as "Blue Collar" hip-hop for the Joe Dubsacks out here who like to light up a fat one and get their headnod on after work. His solo debut, entitled WOLF IN SHEEP'S MUSIC, will drop in early 2010 as a collaborative release from Beatrock Music and Hella Records. The album features San Quinn, Zion-I, Tahaj and Sekima (of the extended Co-Deez family), with production by TD Camp, Fatgums and Gammaray, DJ Zeph, and Dubb himself.

BWAN
BWAN is a Bay Area emcee with the caliber of a magnum revolver. Projectiles of a universal style of spitting lyrics bust-off with each bar that is dropped, leaving a transparent scent of gun powder. A one-man army, he continues to lick shots for social change. But recently releasing his first EP Wake the F*ck Up, both BWAN and his brother Mr REY are sending an arsenal of true-school bay hiphop to the eardrums. You are not about to witness an assault on the status quo, but the cold-blooded massacre of the system. Keep your eyes on the smoking gun. Watch for BWAN's debut album on Beatrock Music in 2010.
